Tri- State PGA comes to Mercer County

The Tri-State PGA tournament is coming to Mercer County! Registration for the event can be found on the Tri-State PGA website under Mercer County Tourism Pro-AM.

The first round of the tournament will be held at the Grove City Country Club on May 16th with a 10 am tee time. The second round of the tournament will be held on May 17th at Tam O’ Shanter Golf Course with a 9 am tee time.

John Kerins, co-owner of Tam O’ Shanter and PGA Director of Golf, worked to bring the tournament to Mercer County to help highlight the local courses and promote local shops, overnights stay, local restaurants, and to bring interest to the Mercer County area.

Kerins said they hope to bring in 120 golfers from West Virginia and the Pittsburgh area.
