Mercer Borough is a 200-year-old, small-town community with much to offer visitors. While strolling the town square, visitors can enjoy an old-fashioned ice cream soda, an in-store Lionel train display reminiscent of childhood days, several antique shops, a quilt shop and a bakery. Kicking off the summer events in Mercer, the Mercer Memorial Day 500 Organization celebrates our veterans with the Memorial Day 500 Parade, as well as 500 flags lining the streets. Free Friday night Concerts on the Courthouse Square, performed by the Mercer Community Band for the past 35 years, starting in June each year.

Several organizations partner for the town’s summertime event, Old Fashioned Day in the Park, which is held at Brandy Springs Community Park in July.
