Back for its seventh season, the region’s premier art & music festival, WaterFire, Sharon PA will host two events this year, July 27, and September 21.
Visitors attending this free, family/pet-friendly event can expect art, music, food, performances and the much-anticipated lighting of more than 50 blazing bonfires on the Shenango River at dusk.
For the first event on July 27th, WaterFire Sharon will host over 65 artisans and non-profit organizations in downtown Sharon, PA. Each will be selling and showcasing their specialties including fine arts, crafts, jewelry and more. Food vendors will be serving festival favorites including roast beef sandwiches, gyros, French fries and much more. Restaurants in downtown Sharon will also be serving their own delicious creations.
Other activities include the Children’s Fun Zone from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. located on State Street between Water Avenue and Main Street with activities for kids including music activities, making bird feeders from ice cream cones, flowers from magazines, maracas from plastic Easter eggs, shell necklaces, picture frames and coloring books that kids can take home.
Join the Sharon Historical Society for their Downtown Sharon History Walks during WaterFire Sharon. Explore south of Downtown on South Dock and Budd Streets, an area not covered before! Featuring stops like the Apollo Maennerchor German Club, Flowers Lumber, and more! Walks will be at Noon, 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on July 27th during WaterFire Sharon.
These are free and open to all! Donations are appreciated. Meeting location is near the roundabout by the Community Action Partnership on South Dock Street.
WaterFire Sharon is from 2:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. with the lighting ceremony at dusk.

• 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.: The Buffettman Band – Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band
• 9:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.: Cin City & The Saints
• 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.: Pan Tropic – Caribbean, steel drum
• 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.: Erie Heights Brass Ensemble – Brass
