Every fall and winter in Mercer County, PA, families flock to a very special place to view an extraordinary attraction. Kraynak’s Santa’s Christmasland in Hermitage, PA, opens each year on September 10 and runs through December 31. Open daily 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Kraynak’s is closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Visitors to Kraynak’s are welcomed by a one-of-a-kind attraction known as “Santa’s Christmasland,” a 300 ft. long indoor avenue of decorated Christmas trees and life-like animated figures. Visiting the display has become “A Family Tradition”!
For 2018, there are over 65 sparkling trees, each with their own theme. Many of the trees are numbered, and with the help of staff, you can re-create it in your home.
Some of the animated themes this year include Welcome to Who-Ville, Yummy Gummy Gumdrop Factory, Christmas Concert, Kringle Ski Lodge, and many more. Visitors will also enjoy browsing Kraynak’s 12,000 square foot Toyland that has a great selection of games and toys for children of all ages. There is a 30,000 square foot gift shop with decorations for the home, church, or business.
Kraynak’s also features a floral boutique shop, greenhouse, model trains and accessories, and a candy department. These departments are open year-round.
Admission to Santa’s Christmasland is free. Bus tours and groups are welcome. Groups wishing to visit are asked to call and make reservations at 724-347-4511. Kraynak’s is located at 2525 East State Street, Hermitage, PA 16148.
