Grab your accordion and dancing shoes and join us for the 18th Annual National Button Box Accordion Festival at the beautiful Apollo Maennerchor German Club at 391 South Dock Street in downtown Sharon, PA. All types of accordions and polka music are welcome to join in at this event!
This family-friendly event, sponsored by the Apollo Maennerchor German Club and Otter Creek Enterprises, will be held May 24th—26th. Guests can enjoy a music-filled three-day event featuring dancing, musical performances, and a concert program on Sunday!
Many music genres will be showcased, including Polkas, Country, Waltzes, Boogie-Woogie, Texas Two-Step, Jitterbug, Fox-Trot, and Latin beats.
Food prepared in the Club kitchen will be available and served in the dining room. Guests can also visit the Biergarten, where microbrew and authentic German beers are on draft!
On Friday, guests can get acquainted from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and enjoy partying, dancing, and jamming together. Admission for this day is $8.
Saturday, from Noon to 10 p.m., dancing and jamming will continue throughout the day inside and outside of the venue. Admission for this day is $10.
On Sunday, from Noon to 9 p.m., guests can enjoy a Formal Concert at 12:30 p.m., which will be followed by dancing and jamming. Guests are encouraged to wear festival ethnic attire. Admission for Sunday is $10.
Guests who wish to attend all three days can purchase the Weekend Special of $25. Children under 13 are admitted to the event for free.
