Calling all music enthusiasts who enjoy dancing to catchy melodies! Join us for three exciting days of music and dancing at the 17th Annual National Button Accordion Festival.
Bring your instruments and take center stage as the entertainment for this thrilling event. Don’t miss this opportunity to showcase your talent and share your love for music with fellow enthusiasts.
The event is held at The Apollo Maennerchor Club, 391 South Dock Street, Sharon, PA. The Apollo Maennerchor Club and Otter Creek Enterprises are the hosts for this truly unique event on Memorial Day Weekend, Friday, May 26, to Sunday, May 28, 2023. Festival hours are Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from Noon to 10 p.m., and Sunday from Noon to 9 p.m., with the formal concert at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $8 on Friday and $10 on Saturday and Sunday.
Join us for the biggest button accordion festival in the United States! Musicians from all over the country gather to perform, and all types of accordions and styles of Polka music are encouraged. Don’t forget to dress in your festival ethnic attire to truly embrace the experience.
The Festhalle, a traditional ballroom with beautiful wood styling and a spacious dance floor, sets the perfect stage for this event. While inside, socialize with other guests or listen to individual players exchanging songs. If you prefer the outdoors, sit on the large patio area and soak in the ambiance of the festival.
There will be various festival-related items available for purchase from vendors, including an exceptional selection of microbrew and authentic German beers on draft. The Maennerchor kitchen will be serving delicious homemade food. Please note that outside food, snacks, and beverages are not permitted.
Join us on Sunday, May 28th, at 12:30 pm to honor veterans with a special program, followed by an accordion concert. Enjoy a day of jamming, music, and dancing until 9 pm. The weekend culminates with a beloved Sunday evening, “Grand Jam,” where all accordion players gather to play a medley together. Don’t miss out on this wonderful celebration of music and patriotism.
