Back for its sixth season, the region’s premier art and music festival, WaterFire Sharon PA, will host three events this year on July 21, August 18 and September 22, 2018. Visitors attending this free, family/pet friendly event can expect to find art, music, food, performances and the much-anticipated lighting of more than 50 blazing bonfires on the Shenango River at dusk.
For the first event on July 21, WaterFire Sharon will host over 65 artisans and non-profit organizations in downtown Sharon, PA. Each will be selling and showcasing their specialties including fine arts, crafts, jewelry, and more. Food vendors will be serving festival favorites including roast beef sandwiches, gyros, French fries, and much more. Restaurants in downtown Sharon will also be serving their own delicious creations.
Activities include an expanded children’s fun zone located near Reyer’s Shoe Store with activities for kids including games, crafts, physical fitness, and more.
A historic walking tour by the Sharon Historical Society will be offered at 12 noon, 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. Visitors should meet at the Community Library of the Shenango Valley 15 minutes prior to the Walk, as it will start promptly.
