Mercer Memorial Day 500 events calendar

Honor our military heroes this Memorial Day weekend in Mercer County at the Mercer Memorial Day 500! This event will feature music performances, a parade, an honoree ceremony, and more.

On May 28^th, at the Mercer County Courthouse Bandstand, you can attend the Salute to Service Concert, featuring country artist Chris Higbee and special guest country/rock artist Kevin Dale. The concert starts at 6 pm and is a family-friendly event.

May 29^th will feature a wide array of events starting at 8 am with coffee and donuts. At 8:30, the Jason Michael Memorial 5k will begin at the borough building. At the bandstand at 9a, you can watch the Basement Band perform. This musical duo shares a range of music, such as rock and pop classics, acoustic favorites, country, and praise for all to enjoy.

At 9:30 am, the dedication of the bandstand will occur, followed by the honoree ceremony. At 11 am, guests can settle in their spots along the parade route to watch the Memorial Day 500 Parade. Following the parade, guests can attend the cemetery service at Mercer Citizens Cemetery, where our fallen hometown heroes will be honored.
