Music Bingo continues every Thursday through October at Quaker Steak & Lube in Sharon. DJ Tom of Moonlight DJ & Karaoke hosts the weekly event, which combines familiar songs with a bingo-style game.
Music Bingo runs from 7 to 9 p.m. each Thursday at 101 Chestnut Street in Sharon.
Jazz saxophonist and composer Greg Abate will perform at The Apollo Maennerchor German Club on Sunday, October 4.
Abate will be joined by a trio of jazz musicians, with an opening set from the YSU Jazz Combo directed by Glenn Schaft of the Dana School of Music. The event is scheduled from 6:03 to 9 p.m. at 291 South Dock Street and is open to the public.
Olympic Fun Center will host Christian Music Skate on Tuesday, October 6, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
The music-centered skating event takes place at 4070 East State Street in Hermitage. The current event listing includes individual attraction pricing, an unlimited wristband option, and skate rental information.
Open Mic Night hosted by Jim Scott returns to Cobblehaus Brewing Co. at the Falls on Wednesday, October 7.
The October event is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. at 1015 Leesburg Station Road. Open Mic Night is part of a monthly series held on the first Wednesday of the month.
Whispering Oaks will hold its Oktoberfest celebration on Thursday, October 8, from 4 to 7 p.m.
The event combines German-style food and beverages with music and other activities. Donations and raffle entries will benefit a local charity. The event listing asks guests to RSVP by October 5.
ACTS Performing Arts Center and the Greenville Symphony Orchestra will collaborate on Celebrate 250 on Saturday, October 10.
The concert begins at 3 p.m. at Passavant Center at Thiel College in Greenville. The program will feature classic Americana music and All-American favorites in recognition of America’s 250th anniversary.
Music will also be part of the Neon Moon Spooktacular on Saturday, October 10, from 3 to 9 p.m. in Downtown Sharon.

The Barricade Boys will perform Tuesday, October 13, at 7:30 p.m. at Orr Auditorium at Westminster College in New Wilmington.
The four performers come from London’s West End and blend musical theater songs with pop, rock, swing, and Motown selections. The performance is part of Westminster College’s Celebrity Series.
Ray of Sunshine Camping & Glamping will host an evening of comedy and music on Saturday, October 17, from 6 to 9:30 p.m.
Thomas Wayne Lyons of Wampum Dogs hosts the variety show. The current listing includes comedy from Mary Caroline, Blake Stalnecker, Nova Mangini, and Hannah Jo, along with music from Wampum Dogs, Marley Jack, and Chris Beaulieu of Viero.
