Mercer County, PA – Visitors to Mercer County, PA, can take advantage of “Shop Local” Small Business Saturday® promotions that encourage shoppers to patronize and support small local businesses.
This year, Small Business Saturday® (SBS®) is on November 26. Participating Downtown Greenville, Grove City, Mercer, and Shenango Valley businesses will have “Shop Local” promotions.
Highlights in Downtown Grove City will be offering a special promotion for the “Shop Local” campaign. Shoppers spending at least $100 at locally-owned stores on Saturday, November 26, can be entered to win a $100 pre-paid gift card. Simply bring your receipts to the Grove City Chamber at 119 South Broad Street, Grove City, PA from November 28 through December 2, 2016, and be entered into a drawing. One of those entries will be drawn to win the $100 pre-paid gift card.
Greenville area merchants are offering discounts on merchandise and gift certificates. Shoppers will also find great sales. For specific sales and promotions, please call the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce at 724-588-7150.

In the Shenango Valley area, you can kick off the holiday season on SBS® with the “Holiday Extravaganza” in Downtown Sharon, PA, as dozens of local merchants provide thousands of dollars in prizes! The “DownTown ShopAround” starts at 10 a.m. with carolers, art, and food vendors and free trolley rides. Night of Lights starts at 6 p.m. Festivities include musical and dance performances, free refreshments, horse-drawn sleigh, ceremonial lighting of the tree and Christmas Cherub, Santa’s arrival, and fireworks.
