Feelin’ the luck of the Irish this St. Patrick’s Day? Join us for the Lucky Duck Race on Saturday, March 14th, presented by Quaker Steak & Lube and Penn State Shenango Student Government Association!
This rubber duck race along the Shenango River will raise funds for Ashlin’s Alliance: Home of Shave Youngstown – a nonprofit fund that ensures no family in Youngstown or beyond has to fight alone.
So, how does it work? Simple! “Adopt” a duck for $10 (available now at Quaker Steak & Lube or through any member of Penn State Shenango SGA or Ashlin’s Alliance), then cheer it on as it races to victory along the Shenango River on March 14th. You could be the one to take home the pot of gold!
Every duck you adopt helps to raise funds for Ashlin’s Alliance. Plus, the first-place duck will win 50% of the proceeds!
