Course Description: 1 mile race for runners or walkers that starts 10 minutes before the Hermitage Light Up Night Parade.

The race will be run on the parade route where thousands of spectators line the entire distance.

The race starts on the corner of Kerrwood Drive and East State Street near Kraynaks and proceeds down East State Street towards 18. The race turns left onto Rt. 18 and finishes just beyond Hickory United Methodist Church.

Awards will be given to the top 3 Open Male and Female finishers, the top Male/Female masters and the top finishers in the following age categories:

Men/Woman 10 and under/11-14/15-19/20-29/30-39/40-49/50-59/60-69/70 and up.

Awards will be presented at the conclusion of the race in the Hickory GMC parking lot.

There will also be awards for the top 3 costumes. (please do not add glass or fragile ornaments to your costume – we do not want them breaking and causing a hazard on the roadway.)
