More than 50 braziers are anchored in the Shenango River in downtown Sharon during an event. Filled with cedar and pine, they are ablaze at nightfall to create a compelling display. Add to the mix, a perfect blend of pre-recorded music and live musicians performing from WFS boats to create memories that will last forever.

WaterFire is a multi-sensory performance event created by Barnaby Evans in the mid-1990s as WaterFire Providence. It transformed a city, a community and a people, and delivered a public art form that symbolized the city’s effort to make the arts a major player in the revitalization of its downtown.

Settled on 150 acres in the beautiful countryside of New Wilmington, PA! Irons Mill features 40+ outdoor attractions, pig races, 9 food locations, and simple & spectacular fun for all ages. Open August 30th (Season Pass Holder Only) through November 2nd each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Also open on Labor Day Monday. Starting October they are open each Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Located adjacent to VacationLand is Maurice K. Goddard State Park. The park has 1,155 acres open to hunting, trapping, and dog training, and there is also great fishing on Lake Wilhelm. The 1,860 acre lake is stocked with walleye, bass, northern pike, catfish, muskellunge and a variety of pan fish. If you enjoy biking, the park has 12 miles of paved bike trail surrounding beautiful Lake Wilhelm, providing a memorable scenic ride. Hiking trails can be found throughout the park as well.

The Property by Nova Destinations is proud to present our final festival of 2024, PIEROGI FESTIVAL!!! A day of everything PIEROGIS. Come out on Saturday, October 5th from 12p-10p and experience different varities of Pierogis paired with different drinks. Tickets are only $3 for Adults. Kids are FREE!

Along our trail, each location will have a different Pierogi paired with a particular drink. Oh and who can forget the PIEROGI SLUSHIES!!! (just joking… or maybe not….)

You will walk from place to place. (Each building is roughly 50-75 yds from each other) The places and what they offer are below:

• Knockin’ Noggin’- Four 3 oz samples of Hard Cider
• Scallywag Distilling- Four 1/2 oz samples of Spirits/Cocktails
• Nova Cellars Winery- Four 2 oz samples of Wine
• Brew 32 Craft Brewery- Four 3 oz samples of Craft Beer
• Springwater Seltzery- Four 3 oz samples of Craft Seltzer

Penn State Shenango will hold its annual Dr. Jane A. Williams Memorial 5K Run / 1 Mile Walk on October 12th, 2024.

The event is in honor of Williams, who was employed at the Shenango campus for 25 years before passing away after a brief illness.

Proceeds from the event will go towards supporting her Memorial Scholarship for Shenango Students.
