Riverside Community Park Summer Concert Series

This free concert series is open to the public and is a great way to enjoy live music this summer! The schedule for this concert series is below:

  • August 7 p.m. – The Seven Wonders, a Fleetwood Mac Tribute band at the Amphitheater.

Mercer County Community Band Summer Season

Known as the Best Free Entertainment on a Friday Night, join the Mercer County Community Band in celebrating 45 years of concerts on the square.

The events will have ice cream socials from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. and warm-up music at 5:30 p.m. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The schedule is as follows:

  • July 26th “Big Band Bash”
  • August 2nd “Music of Nations

The concerts are held at the Mercer County Courthouse Square located at Pitt St (E. Market St.), Mercer, PA 16137. In case of inclement weather, concerts will be held at the Mercer High School Auditorium.

Rockin on the River 

Music, Food, and Fun in beautiful Downtown Sharon at the Rockin’ on the River 2024 Concert Series.  Bring your blankets or lawn chair and enjoy the green space at the corner of State and Shenango Street.  Drinks for those 21+ will be available for purchase from the Block by Nova Destinations.

The concerts are held 6 pm – 9 pm

Buhl Park Summer Concert Series- Wednesdays and Sundays through August 28th

Every Sunday at 6 p.m. and Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., Buhl Park’s Performing Arts Center Outdoor Stage is back with its free concert series. With a lineup featuring a blend of genres such as jazz, polka, country, and rock n’ roll, there’s a melody for everyone.

Ready to tickle your taste buds too? The Cabin Café concession stand is set to entice you with an assortment of bites, including their famous grilled hot dogs! While benches are provided, feel free to bring your own comfort with chairs or lounging blankets.

So, grab your calendar and mark the dates. Let’s come together for a symphony under the stars at Buhl Farm Park, Hermitage, PA. See you there!

WaterFire Sharon

WaterFire Sharon is back for the 2024 season on July 27th and September 21st. Immerse yourself in the fiery spectacle of WaterFire Sharon, an event that has been honored with the prestigious 2018 Event of the Year Award by the Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association. A mesmerizing array of more than fifty sparkling bonfires will dance across the Shenango River, filling the air with the luscious scent of aromatic cedar and pine. As the silhouettes of fire tenders move rhythmically with the flames, you’ll find yourself drawn into a world of pure, elemental magic.

But the experience doesn’t stop with the visual splendor. As the day unfolds, a symphony of enchanting music will ripple through the air, played by a diverse range of performers from around the globe. Each note, each beat, will serve to deepen your immersion, engaging not just your senses, but your very emotions.

This event offers a children’s fun zone, a food court, and so much more! So come, join us at WaterFire Sharon, and let yourself be utterly captivated by this unique, fire-lit wonderland.

Hermitage Arts Festival- July 27th- 28th

Join us for an exciting two-day outdoor celebration that merges music, art, food, and entertainment in a single, unforgettable experience.

The event will be a whirlwind of color, sound, flavor, and fun, featuring live performances that will get your heart pounding and your feet tapping. Experience the electrifying talent of various local artists as they set the stage ablaze with their theatrical performances and musical prowess.

But there’s more! Remember to bring your appetite as a fleet of food trucks will be parked, offering a plethora of delicious, mouth-watering treats. From savory snacks to sweet delicacies, there’s something for every palate. And let’s not forget our little guests! We’ve arranged a variety of delightful activities for children to ensure they have an absolute blast.

And for those with an appreciation for visual arts, don’t miss the Artists’ Marketplace. This is your chance to browse and buy unique creations from local artists. Each piece tells a story, and each work of art is a conversation. As you walk through this creative hub, you’ll be exposed to a variety of styles, subjects, and techniques – a visual feast for the art aficionado!

This event is free and open to the public.

The Hermitage Art Festival will be held at Rodney White Olympic Park, 800 North Hermitage Road, Hermitage, PA 16148.

10th Annual Brews, Bikes, and Bands- August 3rd

Wander through the historic Courthouse Square, surrounded by vintage motorcycle displays from various eras. These beautiful relics of the past are carefully curated and presented by enthusiastic vendors who also offer the latest in motorcycle apparel, accessories, and memorabilia. And that’s not all! You’ll also discover an array of unique jewelry pieces to add that special touch to your festival look.

But what’s a festival without food and drink? Make sure to satisfy your palate with the scrumptious offerings from our local restaurants. Don’t forget to pair your meal with the finest craft beer sourced from our town’s local breweries. After all, nothing goes down better than a cold beer on a warm festival day.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a music festival without the tunes. Prepare yourself to move and groove to the live performances of two of our region’s most renowned bands. Their music will fill the air, making your festival experience unforgettable.

Music at the Marina- August 13th-14th

We invite you to join us for an unforgettable weekend at Lake Wilhelm, where music, food, recreation, and spectacular views blend together to create a concert experience like no other.

Expect to be blown away by an impressive lineup of bands guaranteed to keep the energy high and your feet moving. But there’s more to this experience than just the music. Numerous food trucks will be present, ready to satisfy your cravings with a variety of delicious offerings.

Additionally, they offer various educational and recreational activities throughout the festival, ensuring you’ll never have a dull moment. And the excitement continues even when the music stops. Saturday night will feature a dazzling fireworks display.

Sunday offers you a chance to participate in a car cruise! So, don’t forget to bring $5 for a small entry fee.

Remember to bring along your favorite lawn chair, bike, and fishing pole to truly enjoy the beautiful surroundings. And don’t worry about the cost. Parking and admission are completely free, though we would appreciate any donations at the gate.

Transfer Harvest Home Fair- August 20th – 25th

Gather a group of friends and family for the 146th Transfer Harvest Home Fair. This fair feature agriculture in the area with a variety of livestock displays which include 4-H club showmanship competitions and displays.

Guests can also enjoy music, rides, games, arts and crafts, food vendors, the fair queen contest, and more!  Live Music Schedule Below.

Buhl Day on Labor Day- September 2nd

Start the day with a parade and 5K race, then spend the rest of the day in beautiful Buhl Farm Park for food and all-day entertainment, including a youth fishing tournament, golf tournament, art exhibit, parade, petting zoo, car show, and more!

The event will be held on Labor Day, September 2nd, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The 5K Race and Parade will start in Hermitage near Panera Bread at 9:00 a.m., and the parade will start at the same location at 9:15 a.m.

80th Anniversary of the Jamestown Community Fair- September 3rd

This free, agriculturally-based fair has 4H displays, antique machinery, local vendors, fair food, vegetable and grain displays, baked goods, crafts, and much more!

The event will be held September 3rd – 7th, 2024, – 9:00 a.m. at 204 Shenango St, Jamestown, PA 16134

Oktoberfest at Nova Destinations- September 13th – 21st

If you can’t make it to Germany to celebrate, join us on The Property for Oktoberfest on these dates:

  • Friday, September 13th 3 p.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 14th 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Friday, September 20th 3 p.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 21st 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.

There are 5 locations on the Property each with their own themes and offerings. Guests can enjoy a sampling flight and homemade bite at each stop!

Fall Paddle Fest on The Shenango River

On September 28th, join the Shenango River Watchers for a leisurely float down the Shenango River. Shuttle and picnic lunch are provided for paddlers. Online registration $15, day of registration $20.

Registration is at 7:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Lunch is at 11:00 a.m. -3:30 p.m.

The Paddle Fest will be held at Pymatuning State Park; 1 Water Trail Drive, Jamestown, PA.
