Under this program, two or more properties can jointly market, and VisitMercerCountyPA will provide matching funds to assist with the campaign. Advertising is something we all must do to stay competitive, so this is a great opportunity to partner and make your advertising dollar go further to promote your property and Mercer County. $100,000.00 has been set aside for cooperative advertising for fiscal year 2025/2026.

The Beautification Grant seeks to help downtowns/city centers, main travel corridors, and public areas create what we call a “wow” experience for visitors and residents. $100,000.00 has been earmarked to help in this effort. A 25% match is required with up to $20,000.00 available per approved project.

The agency pays 1/2 of the cost of local billboards up to $1,000.00. VisitMercerCountyPA.com must be shown prominently on the billboard (mobile or stationary). No formal application is needed, but artwork must be pre-approved by the president/CEO of VisitMercerCountyPA.
As part of the marketing strategy of VisitMercerCountyPA, the agency will provide marketing grants to a selection of festivals, fairs, and large Tourism-related events across the county. Applications are limited to non-profit (501-c3 or 501-c6) or community-based organizations/entities in Mercer County. Our participation in marketing these fairs, festivals, and large tourism-related events will strengthen the agency’s brand image, help showcase the county to other areas and encourage tourism visits to festivals/fairs/large tourism-related events therefore boosting the local economy.
