MAURICE K. GODDARD STATE PARK
The 2,856-acre Maurice K. Goddard State Park features the 1,860-acre Lake Wilhelm, which is very popular with anglers and a 12.2-mile paved hiking & biking trail. Many recreational activities attract visitors in all seasons. The large lake, abundant wetlands, old fields and mature forests provide a diversity of habitats for wildlife, especially waterfowl, eagles and ospreys.
The McKeever Environmental Learning Center is folded into a natural wooded setting about 75 miles north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania near Sandy Lake, Mercer County. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania created the McKeever Environmental Learning Center in 1974. Itís primary purpose is to provide environmental education programs to assist people of all ages to become better stewards of the Earthís resources.
Munnell Run Farm is a 163 - acre classroom for experiencing the relationship between agriculture and the natural environment through hands-on activities.

PYMATUNING DEER PARK
Visitors are encouraged to pet and feed the over 200 animals on display. A picnic area, snack bar, gift shop and western town are also available. However the pony and train rides along with the petting zoo are by far the favorites

SHENANGO RIVER LAKE
Shenango River Lake is part of the flood control system operated by the US Army Corps of Engineers for the Beaver and Upper Ohio Rivers. Situated within the suburban Shenango Valley, the lake provides an array of outdoor opportunities including picnicking, camping, nature photography, warm water fishing, boating (six boat ramps available), water sports, canoeing the Shenango River and the Pymatuning Creek and hiking an interpretive trail.
the Shenango River Watchers is a non-profit watershed group formed to restore and protect the environmental, scenic, and recreational attributes of the Shenango River Watershed.
Working together, our members and other volunteers have cleared hundreds of tons of garbage and thousands of tires from illegal dump sites along the river, constructed canoe launches, and monitored the water quality of the Shenango River.
